Mr. Aradhyula Srinivas, a senior IPS officer of the Assam cadre, was conferred with the prestigious President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service by Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah. The award ceremony was held on Thursday at Neemuch in Madhya Pradesh.

Mr. Srinivas, who hails from Vizianagaram district in Andhra Pradesh, is presently serving as an Inspector General in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). With an illustrious career spanning over 34 years in the police force, Mr. Srinivas has earned recognition for his exemplary service and commitment to national security.
Members of the Old Students Association of Maharaja College, including Mr. Perla Rajagopal, Mr. K. Ravikumar, and Mr. T. Prabhakar, congratulated Mr. Srinivas on the honour. Mr. Rajagopal expressed pride in Mr. Srinivas’ achievements, stating that he had brought laurels to Vizianagaram through his academic brilliance and dedicated service. He recalled Mr. Srinivas’ excellence in studies and success in the civil services examination as early indicators of his remarkable journey in public service.
