Balmer Lawrie Signs MoU with NLC India to Strengthen Digital Travel Booking and Allied Services

New Delhi: Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd.’s Travel & Vacations division has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NLC India Limited, a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Coal, for the implementation of a Standard Self Booking Tool (SSBT) and allied travel services.

The partnership aims to streamline travel management for NLC India employees by providing a digital platform for convenient booking and management of both official and personal journeys.

The MoU establishes a framework for implementing the Standard Self Booking Tool and providing allied travel services to NLC India employees.

SSBT to Enable Digital Travel Management

Through the SSBT platform, NLC India employees will be able to manage their travel requirements through a digital interface.

The tool is intended to make the booking and travel management process more convenient while providing employees with a streamlined platform for handling their travel arrangements. The initiative will cover both official travel and personal journeys, expanding the scope of digital travel management available to NLC India employees.

MoU Signed by Senior Officials

The agreement was signed by Ashok K. Gupta, COO (Travel & Vacations), Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., and Raghavendra V. K., Chief Regional Manager, NLC India Limited.

The partnership brings together Balmer Lawrie’s travel management expertise and NLC India’s employee travel requirements to facilitate a more convenient digital booking ecosystem.

Partnership to Strengthen Employee Travel Services

The implementation of SSBT is expected to simplify travel booking and management by providing employees with access to a dedicated digital platform.The initiative reflects the growing adoption of technology-enabled services across public sector enterprises and aims to make employee travel management more efficient and user-friendly.
