Dhanbad: Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) recorded its highest single-day coal dispatch of the current financial year on September 6, 2026, dispatching 1,20,557 tonnes of coal. The achievement marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to strengthen coal supplies and improve operational efficiency.
The record dispatch was supported by the loading of 29 rakes in a single day, including 25 rakes for the power sector. This was the highest single-day power-sector rake loading achieved by BCCL so far this year, reflecting the company’s focus on meeting the growing demand for coal from power plants.
