San Francisco: A Gujarat delegation led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel arrived in San Francisco on Monday as part of a United States and Canada visit aimed at strengthening global investor engagement and promoting Gujarat as an investment destination ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027.
The delegation was warmly welcomed at the airport by members of the local Gujarati community, who greeted the Chief Minister with the Indian Tricolour.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, Patel began his US visit with an interaction with members of the Gujarati diaspora in San Francisco.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s visit is focused on engaging with global investors, industry associations, emerging technology leaders and the Gujarati diaspora.
The Gujarat delegation will use the visit to highlight the state’s industrial ecosystem, infrastructure, business opportunities and development story.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is accompanied by a senior delegation from the Gujarat government and representatives from the state’s trade and industry sector.

Through the international outreach programme, the Gujarat government is seeking to attract global participation and investment ahead of the January 2027 summit.The US and Canada visit is therefore part of Gujarat’s wider effort to deepen global economic engagement and create new investment and business partnerships.
