Chhattisgarh Approves ₹17.39 Crore for Kurud Drains and Baloda Bazar Transport Nagar Development 

The Urban Administration Department sanctioned ₹99.25 lakh for two RCC drains in Kurud and ₹16.40 crore for the construction and development of a Transport Nagar in Baloda Bazar.

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh Urban Administration and Development Department has approved a total of more than ₹17.40 crore for infrastructure development works in Dhamtari and Baloda Bazar districts.

The approvals include ₹99.25 lakh for the construction of two RCC drains in Kurud Municipality of Dhamtari district and ₹16.40 crore for the construction and development of a Transport Nagar in Baloda Bazar Municipality.

The approvals were given following the consent of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao. The department has subsequently issued the required technical and administrative approval orders.

₹99.25 Lakh Approved for Two RCC Drains in Kurud

The Urban Administration and Development Department has sanctioned ₹99.25 lakh for the construction of two RCC drains in Kurud Municipality of Dhamtari district.

The approved works include:

  • ₹53.17 lakh for the construction of an RCC drain from the State Bank of India to Chhoti Nahar in Ward No. 1 of Kurud Municipality.
  • ₹46.08 lakh for the construction of an RCC drain from Mangalam Hardware to Chhoti Nahar in Ward No. 21.

The technical approval orders for both projects have been issued by the department’s directorate following the approval of Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao.

₹16.40 Crore Sanctioned for Transport Nagar in Baloda Bazar

The state government’s Urban Administration and Development Department has also approved ₹16 crore 40 lakh 77 thousand for the construction and development of a Transport Nagar in Baloda Bazar Municipality.

The project is aimed at developing transport-related infrastructure and improving facilities in the municipality.

Following the approval of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration Minister Arun Sao, the department has issued the necessary sanction orders from the ministry.

Arun Sao Directs Officials to Ensure Quality Work

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao has directed officials to ensure that the construction and development works are carried out according to the prescribed quality standards and norms.

He has also instructed that the approved projects should be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

The latest approvals are expected to support the development of basic urban infrastructure in Kurud and improve transport-related facilities in Baloda Bazar.
