Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government on Thursday carried out a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring five IAS officers and assigning them to key administrative positions across the state. Among the major changes, 2015-batch IAS officer Vijay Dayaram has been appointed as the Collector of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, replacing 2013-batch IAS officer Santosh Kumar Dewanga.
The transfer orders, issued with immediate effect, also include changes in the School Education Department, Technical Education, Urban Development, and Panchayati Raj administration.
Vijay Dayaram Takes Over as Collector
Vijay Dayaram (IAS:2015:CG), who was serving as Director, Technical Education, Employment & Training, along with holding the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Chhattisgarh State Skill Development Authority, has been posted as the Collector of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi.
He replaces Santosh Kumar Dewanga (IAS:2013:CG), who has been transferred as Special Secretary, School Education Department.
Technical Education Department Gets New Director
Following Vijay Dayaram’s transfer, Hemant Ramesh Nandanwar (IAS:2020:CG) has been appointed as the new Director, Technical Education, Employment & Training.
Previously serving as Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Mahasamund, Nandanwar will also hold the additional charge of CEO, Chhattisgarh State Skill Development Authority.
Sumit Agrawal Posted to SUDA
In another significant posting, Sumit Agrawal (IAS:2021:CG) has been shifted from the post of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Durg, to become the Chief Executive Officer of the Chhattisgarh State Urban Development Agency (SUDA).
The posting places him in charge of implementing key urban development initiatives across the state.
Anupama Anand Gets First CEO Assignment
Anupama Anand (IAS:2023:CG) has been transferred from her current assignment as Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue), Saraipali, Mahasamund, and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Mahasamund.
The posting marks an important administrative responsibility for the young officer.
