Raipur: A major administrative initiative, “Sushasan Tihar 2026,” has begun across Chhattisgarh with the aim of bringing governance directly to citizens. Running from May 1 to June 10, the campaign focuses on resolving public grievances at the grassroots level through a new, people-centric approach.
Under this initiative, citizens will no longer need to visit government offices repeatedly, as the administration will reach them directly to address their issues on the spot.
Village Clusters and Ward-Level Camps to Ensure Easy Public Access
A key feature of the campaign is the organisation of resolution camps at the local level.
- In rural areas, camps will be held for clusters of 15–20 gram panchayats
- In urban areas, ward-level cluster camps will be organised
These camps will not only accept applications but also ensure immediate resolution wherever possible.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai Emphasises Time-Bound and Transparent Governance
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has described the campaign as a true test of good governance. He has directed officials to prioritise time-bound resolution of public grievances.
Before the launch, district collectors were instructed to clear pending cases by April 30, especially related to:
- Land records (mutation, division, boundary demarcation)
- Pending MGNREGA wages
- Income, caste and residence certificates
- Electricity, transformers and drinking water issues
On-the-Spot Services and One-Month Resolution Deadline
Under the campaign framework, eligible beneficiaries will receive benefits directly at the camps. The government has also set a strict timeline:
- Every application must be resolved within a maximum of one month
- Immediate service delivery wherever eligibility is confirmed
- Real-time processing of grievances at camp locations
Ministers, MLAs and Senior Officials to Monitor Camps
To strengthen accountability, the participation of public representatives and senior officials has been ensured.
- Ministers, MPs, and MLAs will regularly visit camps
- Senior officers will inspect arrangements on-site
- Direct interaction with citizens will be encouraged
This is expected to improve transparency and strengthen trust in the administration.
CM to Conduct Surprise Visits and Direct Public Interaction
A major highlight of the campaign will be surprise inspections by the Chief Minister himself.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai will:
- Visit different districts unexpectedly
- Hold direct public meetings and village interactions
- Review development work on the ground
- Ensure immediate action on citizen grievances
Government Aims for Citizen-Centric and Responsive Administration
“Sushasan Tihar 2026” is being positioned as more than just a government programme. It represents a shift towards responsive, accountable and citizen-focused governance.
The initiative sends a clear message: citizens will no longer need to chase offices for solutions—the government will reach their doorstep and ensure timely resolution of their problems.
