New Delhi/Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a series of high-level meetings during his two-day visit to New Delhi, focusing on the state’s development agenda, pending projects, infrastructure expansion, and coordination with the Central Government.
During the visit, the Chief Minister met senior Union Ministers and officials from various ministries to discuss important issues related to Madhya Pradesh. He also presented bouquets, traditional angavastram, and mementos to honour the Union Ministers.
High-Level Meeting on Narmada Projects and Interstate Issues
During his Delhi visit, CM Mohan Yadav participated in a high-level meeting chaired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah to discuss interstate projects related to the Narmada River.
The meeting was also attended by Union Minister for Jal Shakti C.R. Patil and Chief Ministers of several states, including:
- Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel
- Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma
- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
The discussion focused on the progress of Narmada-related projects, resolving pending issues, and improving coordination among states.
Representatives from the participating states discussed ways to overcome implementation challenges and speed up development works linked to the river projects.
CM Mohan Yadav Discusses Madhya Pradesh Projects with Union Ministers
During his visit, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held separate meetings with several Union Ministers, including:
- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh
- Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw
- Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil
- Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan
The meetings covered a wide range of issues related to Madhya Pradesh, including:
- Infrastructure development
- Railway expansion
- Irrigation projects
- Water resource management
- Agricultural development
The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s development priorities and sought support for faster implementation of important projects.
Focus on Interstate Coordination with Other Chief Ministers
CM Mohan Yadav also met the Chief Ministers of Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra to discuss projects involving multiple states.
The discussions focused on:
