New Delhi: The Government of the National Capital Territory (GNCT) of Delhi has relieved three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the AGMUT cadre from their current assignments with effect from the afternoon of July 31, 2026, enabling them to assume their new postings in Jammu & Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh and Lakshadweep.
The relieving order was issued by the Services Department (Services-I Branch) in compliance with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) transfer order dated July 9, 2026.
Mamta Yadav Transferred to Jammu & Kashmir
Among the officers relieved is Mamta Yadav (IAS:2021:AGMUT), who is currently serving as Deputy Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). She has been transferred to Jammu & Kashmir as part of the latest cadre postings.
Rishita Gupta Posted to Arunachal Pradesh
Rishita Gupta (IAS:2019:AGMUT), also serving as Deputy Commissioner in the MCD, has been relieved to join her new assignment in Arunachal Pradesh.
Wairokpam Punshiba Singh Heads to Lakshadweep
Wairokpam Punshiba Singh (IAS:2022:AGMUT) has been transferred to Lakshadweep under the same MHA order and will be relieved from Delhi to take up his new posting.
Order Issued by Services Department
The relieving order was issued by Deputy Secretary (Services) Jitendra Kumar Arora, directing the officers to be relieved from their present assignments to facilitate their timely joining at their respective places of posting.
The transfers are part of the routine cadre management process for AGMUT officers undertaken by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
