EdCIL Signs MoU with SCL Under MeitY for CBT-Based Recruitment to Boost Transparent Hiring

New Delhi: EdCIL (India) Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL), an organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), to manage recruitment through Computer-Based Testing (CBT).

The MoU was signed in the presence of Amitesh Kumar Sinha, Additional Secretary, MeitY, and Kamaljeet Singh, Director General of SCL.

Strengthening Technology-Driven Recruitment Systems

The collaboration marks a significant step toward modernizing recruitment processes in government institutions.

Under the agreement, EdCIL will assist SCL in conducting recruitment through:

  • Secure and reliable Computer-Based Tests (CBT)
  • Transparent and merit-based selection processes
  • Scalable and efficient digital recruitment systems

The initiative is aimed at improving overall candidate experience while ensuring fairness and accountability in hiring.
