RailTel Secures ₹100 Crore Konkan Division Order for Integrated IT System to Monitor Minor Minerals

New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has secured a ₹100 crore (excluding taxes) order from the Konkan Division for the development and maintenance of an integrated IT system to monitor minor minerals. The Letter of Intent (LoI) was issued by the Divisional Commissioner, Konkan Division.

The project marks a significant addition to RailTel’s growing portfolio in government digital infrastructure and e-governance solutions.

Project Scope: Five-Year Integrated Monitoring System

Under the contract, RailTel will act as the System Integrator responsible for designing and implementing the digital solution.

Key Scope of Work Includes:

  • Development of an integrated IT platform for mineral monitoring
  • Real-time tracking and compliance system for minor minerals
  • Maintenance and technical support for five years
  • Project execution timeline extending up to April 2031

The system aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance in the minor minerals sector through digital monitoring.

RailTel confirmed that the contract does not involve any related-party transactions, and no promoter group interest exists in the awarding authority.
