New Delhi: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE), has been conferred with the prestigious SCOPE Eminence Award for Institutional Excellence in the Maharatna/Navratna PSEs category. The recognition was announced at the SCOPE Eminence Awards ceremony, celebrating the outstanding contributions of India’s leading public sector enterprises.

Recognition of Excellence

The award highlights HAL’s remarkable achievements in the aerospace and defence sector, underscoring its role as a cornerstone of India’s self-reliance in aviation and defence manufacturing. Over the decades, HAL has been instrumental in designing, developing, and producing aircraft, helicopters, engines, avionics, and related systems, making India a global player in defence technology.

Strengthening India’s Defence Capabilities

By winning the SCOPE Eminence Award, HAL’s leadership in innovation, institutional growth, and operational excellence is further reinforced. The recognition also reflects its contribution to nation-building through advanced indigenous platforms like the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, Dhruv helicopters, and various aircraft modernization programs.
