Chandigarh: The Haryana government has undertaken a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring a total of 35 officers, including nine IAS and 26 HCS officers. The transfers also involved key positions such as Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) in eight districts and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) in five locations.
The Nayab Singh Saini led government issued two transfer lists. The first list includes the names of 6 IAS and 21 HCS officers, covering the transfer of Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) in 8 districts and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) in 5 locations. The second list includes 8 officers, comprising 3 IAS and 5 HCS officers.
ADCs of Eight Districts Reassigned
The government has appointed new Additional Deputy Commissioners in Palwal, Gurugram, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Jind, Kaithal, Ambala, and Mahendragarh.
Key appointments include –
2004 batch IAS officer Dr Subhita Dhaka has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Palwal.
2016 batch IAS Brahmjeet Singh Rangi, who is presently posted as Administrator HSVP, has been transferred as Chief Vigilance Officer HSVP, Government of Haryana
2021 batch IAS officer Sonu Bhatt has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram, along with additional charges as Additional Managing Director of HSIIDC and CEO of the Global City Project, Gurugram.
2021 batch IAS officer Vivek Arya has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kurukshetra.
IAS officer Yogesh Kumar Mehta has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Karnal.
IAS officer Pradeep Kumar-2 has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jind.
IAS officer Dr. Sushil Kumar-2 has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kaithal.
IAS officer Virat has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ambala and has also been given the additional charge of Special Officer, APZ Ambala.
IAS officer Tarun Kumar Pawaria has been appointed as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mahendragarh.
SDM Positions Realigned
Significant changes were made at the SDM level across five key locations:
- Abhinav Siwach (IAS) – SDM, Bahadurgarh. Notably, Abhinav recently married IPS officer Aashna Chaudhary.
- Pradeep Ahlawat-2 (HCS) – SDM, Tosham
- Anil Kumar Doon (HCS) – SDM, Pehowa
- Anil Kumar Yadav (HCS) – SDM, Indri
- Apratim Singh (HCS) – SDM, Hathin
Additionally, Preeti Rawat has been appointed City Magistrate of Palwal, and Pradeep Kumar-3 has been posted as SDM of Karnal.

The reshuffle also included senior administrative postings beyond ADCs and SDMs –
- Yogesh Kumar (IAS) – Commissioner, Karnal Municipal Corporation
- Gaurav Kumar (HCS) – Secretary, State Election Commission, Haryana
- Jaideep Kumar – Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban)
- Bharat Bhushan Gogia – Additional Director, MSME Department
- Sushil Kumar-4 (HCS) – CEO, Yamunanagar District Council and DRDA; Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies
- Dheeraj Chahal – Joint Director, Mines and Geology Department
- Suresh – Joint Director (Administration), Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati Government Medical College, Nalhar (Nuh)
The appointment orders for Dr. Vaishali Sharma, Ravi Meena (IAS), and Ashok Kumar, Naseeb Kumar (HCS) will be issued shortly.
