In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Haryana government on Monday transferred six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and 18 Haryana Civil Services (HCS) officers with immediate effect.
The large-scale administrative changes are aimed at strengthening governance and streamlining departmental operations across the state.

IAS Officers Transferred
The following IAS officers were among those transferred:
- Virender Kumar Dahiya — Panipat Deputy Commissioner posted as Special Secretary, Secretariat Establishment. He will continue holding additional charges as Director, Environment Haryana, and Special Secretary, Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department.
- Harish Kumar Vashishth — Palwal Deputy Commissioner appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Panipat.
- Jainder Singh Chhilar — Special Secretary, Finance Department, posted as Deputy Commissioner of Palwal.
HCS Officers Included in the Reshuffle
Among the Haryana Civil Services officers transferred were:
- Shalini Chetal — Posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Hisar.
- Ashutosh Rajan — Appointed Additional Director (Administration), Development and Panchayats, Haryana.
- Shambhu — Given additional charge as Additional Director, Consolidation of Land Holdings and Land Records, Haryana.
Government Push for Administrative Efficiency
The reshuffle is part of Haryana’s ongoing efforts to improve governance, strengthen district administration, and streamline departmental functioning through strategic officer postings.
