Himachal Pradesh Govt Issues Administrative Reshuffle: IAS Amarjeet Singh Gets Additional Charge, 2 HAS Officers Transferred Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has carried out a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, assigning additional responsibilities to one IAS officer and transferring two Himachal Administrative Service (HAS) officers. The Department of Personnel issued the official orders on Tuesday. Amarjeet Singh Given Additional Charge of Town and Country Planning Department Senior IAS officer and Secretary (Cooperation) Amarjeet Singh has been assigned the additional charge of the Department of Town and Country Planning. Until now, the department was being overseen by Acting Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, who had been holding the responsibility temporarily. The new arrangement aims to streamline administrative oversight in key urban planning functions. HAS Officer Nishant Thakur Appointed Additional Secretary (Revenue-DMC) 2010-batch HAS officer Nishant Thakur has been appointed as Additional Secretary (Revenue-DMC). He will continue to serve as Project Director of the Program Management Unit (SDMF), along with his new responsibilities. The dual charge reflects continuity in ongoing development and revenue-related projects. Vinay Modi Assigned Dual Responsibilities in Una HAS officer Vinay Modi has been posted as Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner (AC-to-DC) in Una. In addition, he has been given the additional charge of Member Secretary of the State Scheduled Castes Commission in Una. Previously, he was serving as Member Secretary at the headquarters of the State Commission for Scheduled Castes in Una. Administrative Reshuffle Aims at Better Coordination The latest transfers and additional charges are part of routine administrative restructuring aimed at improving coordination, governance efficiency, and departmental functioning across key offices in Himachal Pradesh.

Senior IAS officer and Secretary (Cooperation) Amarjeet Singh has been assigned the additional charge of the Department of Town and Country Planning.

Vinay Modi Assigned Dual Responsibilities in Una

HAS officer Vinay Modi has been posted as Assistant Commissioner to Deputy Commissioner (AC-to-DC) in Una.
