New Delhi: Senior IAS officer Brajendra Navnit has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the 8th Central Pay Commission under the Department of Expenditure.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on April 30, 2026, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment for a tenure of four years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders.
Currently Serving in Tamil Nadu Government
Mr Navnit is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Information Technology and Digital Services Department in the Government of Tamil Nadu. His appointment marks a significant transition from state administration to a key central role.
