Arunachal Pradesh Transfers 7 IAS Officers; Vishal Shah Appointed CEO of HAPDA

The Arunachal Pradesh government has transferred seven IAS officers, appointing Vishal Shah as CEO of HAPDA while making key changes in district administration, including new Deputy Commissioners for Papum Pare, Namsai, Keyi Panyor and Dibang Valley.

Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh government has carried out a fresh administrative reshuffle, transferring seven Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and assigning them new responsibilities across key administrative and developmental positions in the state.

Among the prominent changes, Vishal Shah (IAS) has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Housing and Planning Development Authority (HAPDA). In addition to this role, he will also serve as Registrar of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and Special Secretary, Industries Department.

Shah was earlier serving as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Changlang district.

Key District Administrators Get New Postings

The reshuffle includes appointments of several Deputy Commissioners across districts.

Mamu Hage (IAS) has been posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Papum Pare, replacing Lobsang Tsering, who has now been transferred as the Deputy Commissioner of Namsai.

Meanwhile, Ankita Mishra (IAS), who was serving as CEO of HAPDA, Registrar of RERA and Special Secretary (Industries), has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Keyi Panyor.

Changes in Dibang Valley Administration

The government has also made changes in Dibang Valley district.

Yashwant Meena (IAS) has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Dibang Valley.

The outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Bekir Nyorak (IAS), has been directed to report to the Office of the Chief Secretary for further posting.

Saugat Biswas Transferred to Jammu & Kashmir

In another significant development, Saugat Biswas (IAS) has been transferred from the Arunachal Pradesh cadre to Jammu & Kashmir, marking an inter-cadre movement.

  • Vishal Shah – Appointed CEO, HAPDA; Registrar, RERA; and Special Secretary (Industries). Earlier served as Deputy Commissioner, Changlang.
  • Mamu Hage – Appointed Deputy Commissioner, Papum Pare.
  • Lobsang Tsering – Transferred from Deputy Commissioner, Papum Pare to Deputy Commissioner, Namsai.
  • Ankita Mishra – Posted as Deputy Commissioner, Keyi Panyor. Earlier served as CEO, HAPDA; Registrar, RERA; and Special Secretary (Industries).
  • Yashwant Meena – Appointed Deputy Commissioner, Dibang Valley.
  • Bekir Nyorak – Relieved as Deputy Commissioner, Dibang Valley and directed to report to the Chief Secretary’s Office.
  • Saugat Biswas – Transferred to Jammu & Kashmir from Arunachal Pradesh.

The latest reshuffle is aimed at strengthening district administration and ensuring efficient governance through strategic deployment of senior IAS officers across important administrative and developmental assignments in Arunachal Pradesh.
