56 IRMS Probationers Call on President Murmu, Receive Guidance on Public Service Values

New Delhi: Probationers of the Indian Railways Management Service (IRMS) had a rare and inspiring opportunity as they called on the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday. The interaction brought together young officers from multiple services, highlighting the importance of public service values and nation-building.

Probationers Across Services Participate

A total of 56 probationers from the IRMS (Traffic) 2022 and 2023 batches participated in the interaction. They were joined by probationers from the Indian Railway Protection Force Service (IRPFS) and the Central Engineering Service (Roads).

The delegation included Probationary Officers of Indian Railways and Assistant Executive Engineers of CES (Roads), reflecting a diverse representation of key infrastructure and transport services.

  • Satish Kumar, Chairman & CEO, Railway Board

  • Ranjan Prakash Thakur, Director General, IRITM

Addressing the probationers, Droupadi Murmu emphasised that railways and highways are not merely systems of transport, but vital instruments for:
