Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has emphasised the need to promote stronger institutional collaboration in the fields of public policy and good governance. As part of this effort, an agreement was signed between the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis and the International Institute of Waste Management (IIWM) to promote long-term cooperation in governance, environmental protection, resource management, public policy and sustainable development.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav at Samatva Bhawan, Chief Minister’s Residence, Bhopal.
MoU to Strengthen Cooperation in Good Governance and Public Policy
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said institutional cooperation would be promoted in the areas of public policy and good governance.
He has also emphasised the importance of strengthening the role of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis in developing long-term partnerships in key areas such as:
- Good governance
- Environmental protection
- Resource management
- Public policy
- Sustainable development
The collaboration with IIWM is expected to support knowledge sharing and the development of practical solutions to emerging challenges in governance and environmental management.

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav congratulated all officials and representatives associated with the MoU and encouraged both institutions to work together effectively.The agreement was signed by Prof. Rajiv Dixit, Vice-Chairperson of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, and Praveen Ramdas, Managing Trustee of the International Institute of Waste Management (IIWM).
