Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh received investment proposals worth more than ₹53,000 crore during Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s three-day UAE visit, with major interest spanning green energy, artificial intelligence, data centres, advanced manufacturing, logistics and other sectors.
On the third day of the visit on September 8, Yadav held a series of one-to-one meetings with global investors and business groups in Dubai and Sharjah. He also invited UAE-based investors to participate in the Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2027, scheduled to be held in Bhopal in January next year.
Rana Holdings Proposes ₹35,200 Crore Investment
One of the largest proposals came from Rana Holdings Limited, which discussed a potential investment of around ₹35,200 crore (US$4 billion) across several projects in Madhya Pradesh.

The proposed investment includes:
- 2,000 MW solar energy portfolio
- 200 MW green hydrogen plant
- 50 MW AI and compute data centre, expandable to 200 MW
- 30,000 MTPA critical minerals recovery and recycling complex
- Integrated smart manufacturing hub
The company presented these projects during its meeting with the Chief Minister as part of a broader proposed investment programme.

₹18,000 Crore AI Factory Concept
Another major proposal came from NIDI Services DMCC/SCNELL, which discussed an industrial-scale AI compute campus and a Sovereign AI Factory in Madhya Pradesh.
The company presented a concept involving an investment of approximately US$1.5 billion to US$2 billion, or around ₹18,000 crore, for a 50 MW AI Factory. The proposed facility could subsequently be expanded beyond 100 MW, according to the state government.
Meetings Across Multiple Investment Sectors
Yadav also held discussions with representatives of several international companies and business groups, including:
- GEMS Education — K-12 education, teacher training and ed-tech
- Crescent Group — renewable energy, logistics and sustainable infrastructure
- PureHealth — hospitals, digital health and medical education
- Sharaf Group — logistics parks, warehousing and cold-chain infrastructure
- Choithrams — food processing, retail and supply chains
- DP World — multimodal logistics and export-linked infrastructure
- KGK Group — diamond processing and gems and jewellery manufacturing
- Vistas Media Capital — film, animation, VFX, gaming and digital content
- VFS Global — visa services, tourism and hospitality skill development
The discussions were aimed at exploring potential investment and business partnerships in Madhya Pradesh.
MPIDC Wins ‘Winner Asia’ Award
During AIM Investment Awards 2026, the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) received the “Winner Asia” award.
According to the state government, the international recognition was given for performance in areas including investment promotion, attracting foreign direct investment, employment generation, innovation and sustainable development.
The award was presented by UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade and AIM Congress Chairman Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
Sharjah, BEEAH and Emaar Engagements
Yadav also met the leadership of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where discussions covered trade, investment, technology, SMEs, logistics, food processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, tourism and renewable energy.
He visited BEEAH’s sustainability facilities in Sharjah and discussed potential cooperation in waste-to-energy, integrated solid waste management, circular economy, smart cities and green energy.
The Chief Minister also met Emaar Properties founder and Managing Director Mohamed Alabbar. Discussions included potential investment in integrated urban development, townships, hospitality and projects along the Indore-Pithampur-Ujjain development corridor.
CM Invites Investors to GIS 2027
During a media interaction in Dubai, Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s investment infrastructure, land availability, logistics network and policy support.
He said the state had received investment proposals worth more than ₹34 lakh crore over the previous two-and-a-half years, and claimed that over 30% of these projects had moved to the implementation stage.
“Madhya Pradesh is the heart of India and will welcome investors from the heart,” Yadav said.
Yadav invited investors to the Global Investors Summit 2027 in Bhopal, pitching opportunities in agriculture and food processing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automobiles, advanced manufacturing, green energy, IT, AI, data centres, electronics and tourism.
