New Delhi: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited has announced the appointment of Sambeet Saurav Nayak (IRTS) as its new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO). He has officially assumed charge to strengthen vigilance and administrative systems within the company.
The appointment is aimed at reinforcing transparency, accountability, and ethical governance across operations.
Experienced 2012-Batch IRTS Officer
Nayak is a 2012-batch officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) and brings extensive experience in operations, commercial management, and safety administration.
During his tenure with the East Coast Railway, he served in key positions including:
- Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Khurda Road)
- Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sambalpur)
- Senior Divisional Safety Officer (Sambalpur)
He has also played a significant role in executing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, including both greenfield and brownfield infrastructure initiatives in the Sambalpur Division.
