New Delhi: Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL) has launched the MEC Innovation Hub Portal to promote innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement in the field of mineral exploration.
The new portal is aimed at making MECL more technology-driven, agile and future-ready, while encouraging employees to contribute ideas for improving systems and processes.
MECL Launches MEC Innovation Hub Portal
The MEC Innovation Hub Portal was formally inaugurated in the presence of senior officials from MECL and Western Coalfields Limited (WCL).
The launch ceremony began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by:
- Dr. Hemant Sharad Pande, CMD, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL)
- Indra Dev Narayan, CMD, MECL
- Pankaj Pandey, Director (Technical), MECL
- Surendra Singh Kshatriya, Director (Finance), MECL
- Pradeep Kumar, CVO, MECL
Plant saplings were also presented to the dignitaries during the event as a symbol of growth and sustainability.
MECL Focuses on Critical Minerals Exploration
Speaking on the occasion, Indra Dev Narayan, CMD, MECL, emphasised the importance of exploring critical minerals to support a sustainable future.
He said MECL will continue to work closely with Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) to leverage and expand their collective exploration capabilities.
The collaboration is aimed at strengthening India’s mineral and mining sector and contributing towards a more self-reliant mineral ecosystem.
