Srinagar: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has transferred three IAS officers of the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories) cadre from Jammu and Kashmir to Arunachal Pradesh with immediate effect.
As per an MHA order issued on September 3, 2026, Mohd Aijaz (IAS: 2012), Harvinder Singh (IAS: 2019), and Shishir Gupta (IAS: 2020) have been relieved of their present postings in Jammu and Kashmir and assigned to Arunachal Pradesh.
Three IAS Officers Transferred to Arunachal Pradesh
The transfers have been approved by the Competent Authority and will remain effective until further orders.
The officers transferred are:
- Mohd Aijaz, IAS (AGMUT: 2012)
- Harvinder Singh, IAS (AGMUT: 2019)
- Shishir Gupta, IAS (AGMUT: 2020)
The order directs all three officers to move from their present assignments in Jammu and Kashmir and take up their new postings in Arunachal Pradesh.
Officers Directed to Be Relieved Within 15 Days
The MHA has instructed the three IAS officers to be relieved from their present assignments within 15 days from the date of issuance of the order.
The transfers have been made with immediate effect and will continue until further orders from the competent authority.
MHA Order Issued from New Delhi
The order was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs from Kartavya Bhavan-3, New Delhi, under File No. 15041/08/2023-UTS.I.
The directive was signed by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs.
The order has been communicated to the concerned officers through the Chief Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir.
Order Circulated to AGMUT Cadre Administrations
Copies of the MHA order have also been forwarded to the Chief Secretaries of Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh, as well as the administrations of other AGMUT cadre territories, including Delhi, Mizoram and Puducherry, along with other concerned authorities.
The latest transfers are part of the Centre’s administrative management of officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre.
