New Delhi: The government has accepted the technical resignation of Minu Pramod, a 1997-batch Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) officer, with effect from September 30, 2026, enabling her to join the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) under the Department of Space on an absorption basis.
Pramod is currently serving as Principal Commissioner, Kochi RTI, under the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN). Government records also list her as a 1997-batch officer of the IRS (C&IT) cadre.
Minu Pramod to Move to Department of Space
The technical resignation will take effect from September 30, following the government’s acceptance of her request to leave the IRS (C&IT) cadre and join IIST.
Her move to the Department of Space will be on an absorption basis, allowing her to take up the new assignment at the space science and technology institute.
The resignation announcement identifies her as Principal Additional Director General of Indirect Taxes and Customs and a 1997-batch IRS (C&IT) officer.
