Bhopal: On the occasion of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) inaugurated its Medical Cell ‘Seva Prakalp Office’ at the party’s state headquarters in Madhya Pradesh.
The facility was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal, and Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Prasad Shukla. The leaders also launched two dedicated helpline numbers for medical assistance.
Dedicated Helpline Numbers for Medical Assistance
The BJP has introduced two helpline numbers to support its party workers and their families in medical emergencies:

Through these numbers, party workers can access medical consultation and assistance from home. The service is also extended to the families of active party members.
“Healthy Workers, Strong Organisation” Vision
The initiative aims to strengthen the concept of “healthy workers, strong organisation”, ensuring timely medical help for party cadres.
CM Mohan Yadav stated that the initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, transforming it into a healthcare support system for party workers.
A dedicated medical room has been set up at the party office where experienced doctors and medical experts will provide consultation.
Emergency Medical Support and Blood Assistance
The Seva Prakalp Office will also provide additional emergency healthcare support, including:
- Primary medical consultation
- Assistance under Ayushman Bharat Scheme
- Priority support for serious illnesses like cancer, heart disease, and kidney ailments
- Immediate blood supply through a dedicated blood donation team
The system is designed to ensure quick response in critical health situations.
Plans for Free Health Camps and Eye Care
During the inauguration, CM Mohan Yadav suggested that the BJP medical cell should organize eye check-up camps in rural areas across state.He also announced that the government is planning to provide free spectacles to needy citizens as part of its public welfare initiatives.
Claim: First-of-Its-Kind Facility in India
Party leaders claimed that this may be the first such political party office in India dedicated specifically to providing structured healthcare support and medical assistance to its workers and families.
