Ward-wise Development Plan

  • Ward 7: Construction of two BT-coated roads worth ₹42.20 lakh
  • Ward 15: BT-coated road construction worth ₹3.13 lakh
  • Wards 11, 12, 13, and 14: BT-coated road from Jhulelal Temple to Durga Temple worth ₹41.61 lakh
  • Ward 14: BT road from Atmanand School to main road worth ₹16.73 lakh
  • Ward 6: CC road from Rahangi Road to Mukti Dham worth ₹31.08 lakh
  • Ward 10: CC road from Darha Primary School to main road worth ₹12.83 lakh
  • General Area: RCC drain construction from Peepal Chowk to Electricity Office (Rahami Mor) worth ₹41.50 lakh

Objective: Better Connectivity and Urban Facilities

The project focuses on improving transportation and drainage infrastructure across Bodri. BT-coated roads will strengthen and improve durability of key routes, while CC roads in Ward 6 and Ward 10 will enhance connectivity in important local stretches.

The new drainage system is expected to improve water flow management and reduce waterlogging issues in the area.

Government Emphasis on Quality and Timely Completion

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao has directed officials to ensure that all construction works strictly follow quality standards and are completed within the stipulated timelines. The goal is to provide faster benefits to residents through improved civic infrastructure.

With this approval, Bodri is set to witness significant upgrades in road connectivity and drainage systems, enhancing overall urban living standards. The initiative reflects the state government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen basic infrastructure in smaller urban bodies across Chhattisgarh.
