New Delhi: Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited (HSCL), a subsidiary of state-owned infrastructure company NBCC (India) Limited, has secured four new infrastructure development projects worth ₹158.95 crore in Odisha. The projects are aimed at strengthening education infrastructure across key districts of the state.
NBCC informed the stock exchanges through a regulatory filing that the orders were received in the normal course of business and will be executed on a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) deposit work basis. The contracts have been awarded by domestic entities and do not involve any related-party transactions.
HSCL Secures Four Major Projects in Odisha
The newly awarded projects focus primarily on the construction and development of educational facilities. The total value of the contracts stands at approximately ₹158.95 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).
The details of the projects are:
- Mega Education Complex, Keonjhar:
HSCL has received a contract worth ₹70.59 crore from the District Mineral Foundation (DMF), Keonjhar, for the construction of a large-scale education complex. - DD University Works, Keonjhar:
Another project awarded by DMF Keonjhar involves construction and allied infrastructure development works at DD University, valued at ₹17.24 crore. - Kendriya Vidyalaya Campus, Angul:
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has awarded HSCL a contract worth ₹35.56 crore for planning and construction of a new school campus in Angul district. - Kendriya Vidyalaya Campus, Sambalpur:
HSCL has also secured a similar ₹35.56 crore project for developing a new Kendriya Vidyalaya campus in Sambalpur district.

Projects to Strengthen Education Infrastructure
The projects are expected to improve educational facilities and create modern learning infrastructure in Odisha. Through these assignments, HSCL will provide project management, construction planning, and execution support for large institutional developments.

Market observers noted that these new orders are expected to support NBCC’s execution pipeline and contribute to revenue growth during the financial year 2026-27.
