Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin has expressed confidence that Uttar Pradesh will attain the status of a developed state even before India achieves its national goal of becoming a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047. Speaking during his two-day organisational visit to Uttar Pradesh, Nabin credited the state government’s governance model and the party’s organisational strength for the state’s rapid progress.
He said the combined efforts of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state BJP leadership, and party workers have placed Uttar Pradesh on a strong development path, adding that the state’s progress would outpace the larger national timeline.
Focus on Organisation Ahead of 2027 Assembly Elections
Nabin’s visit comes at a time when the BJP has begun preparing for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He said there was visible enthusiasm among the public and stressed that the party’s organisational network would continue to play a key role in maintaining its political momentum.
The BJP chief is holding a series of meetings with senior party leaders, NDA allies, and booth-level workers to strengthen coordination and finalise the party’s strategy for the upcoming electoral battle. The visit is also aimed at reinforcing Uttar Pradesh’s importance in the BJP’s national political roadmap.
Recalls BJP’s Rise Since 2014
Reflecting on the BJP’s electoral journey, Nabin recalled the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rise from humble beginnings as a symbol of opportunity and determination.
He also praised the people of Uttar Pradesh, particularly the youth, for their resilience and hard work. He said their contribution has been central to the state’s progress and would remain important in achieving future development goals.
Nabin arrived in Lucknow on Saturday, where he was received by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttar Pradesh BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. His two-day visit is being viewed as an important organisational exercise as the party gears up for the next phase of political activity in the state.
