New Delhi: NTPC Bongaigaon, a unit of NTPC Limited, has been honoured with two prestigious national-level awards recognising its strong performance in occupational health, safety, environment management, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

Gold Award in OHS&E Excellence 2026
The Bongaigaon station received the Gold Category Award in the OHS&E Excellence Award 2026, presented by the International Business Conference (IBC), New Delhi.
The award acknowledges outstanding performance in:
- Occupational Health practices
- Safety management systems
- Environmental sustainability efforts
The award was received by Rajiv Ranjan, AGM (Safety), on behalf of the station.

In another major achievement, NTPC Bongaigaon was conferred the 12th Greentech CSR Award 2026 in the Healthcare Promotion (Rural) category.

- Strengthen community well-being
- Implement impactful CSR programmes
The honour was received by Smriti Das, Executive (CSR, LA & R&R).
Leadership Appreciation for Teams and Employees
The awards were formally presented to Arnab Maitra, Head of Project at NTPC Bongaigaon, who congratulated the Safety and CSR teams for their contribution to these achievements.
