New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has received a work order worth ₹48.40 crore, including taxes, from the Odisha Primary Education Program Authority (OPEPA) for the supply, installation and commissioning of tools and equipment, along with the setup of vocational laboratories.
The company disclosed the order through a regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The work order was received on October 5, 2026, at 13:14 hours.
The project strengthens RailTel’s presence in the education sector by expanding its portfolio of technology and infrastructure-related services for educational institutions.

RailTel to Set Up Vocational Laboratories in Odisha
Under the contract, RailTel will supply and install the required tools and equipment, commission the systems and establish vocational laboratories for OPEPA.
The project reflects the company’s role in providing technology and infrastructure solutions across different sectors, including education. The work is expected to expand RailTel’s engagement with educational institutions through the development of vocational laboratory facilities.
The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, further strengthening the company’s portfolio of projects within India.
RailTel Confirms No Related-Party Transaction
In its regulatory disclosure, RailTel clarified that the work order does not involve any related-party transaction.
The company also stated that neither its promoter nor its promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity, Odisha Primary Education Program Authority.
The disclosure was made in accordance with Regulation 30, read with Part A (B) of Schedule III of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
