New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has secured a new railway signalling contract worth ₹15.67 crore from the Jodhpur division of the North Western Railway, according to a regulatory filing made under SEBI disclosure norms.

The Letter of Acceptance (LoA) was issued by the Senior Divisional Signal & Telecom Engineer (Sr. DSTE), Jodhpur.

Project Scope: Double Distant Signalling Work

The contract involves the installation and execution of double distant signalling systems in the Jajiwal (JWL)–Nawa City (NAC) section under the Jodhpur Division.

This upgrade is aimed at improving railway safety, operational efficiency, and train movement reliability in the region.

  • No related-party transaction involved
  • No delay in regulatory disclosure

Boost to Railway Modernisation Efforts

The project is part of Indian Railways’ ongoing modernization drive to upgrade signalling infrastructure across key routes. Such systems are essential for enhancing safety, reducing delays, and improving network efficiency in railway operations.

The contract further strengthens RailTel’s growing presence in railway infrastructure and telecom-based engineering projects.
