New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) worth approximately ₹49.67 crore from the Transport Department, Government of Karnataka, for implementing an Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) project aimed at modernizing traffic enforcement and transport operations.

ITMS Project to Enhance Traffic Monitoring and Road Safety

The project has been awarded by the Additional Commissioner for Transport, Enforcement (South), Karnataka, and focuses on deploying advanced digital infrastructure for transport management.

Key objectives include:

  • Intelligent traffic monitoring system deployment
  • Improved enforcement of road safety rules
  • Real-time transport data management
  • Technology-driven governance and mobility solutions
