New Delhi: RITES Limited has informed stock exchanges that Mr. Atul Singh has been appointed as a Part-Time Government Nominee Director on its Board, following approval from the Hon’ble President of India through the Ministry of Railways.
The appointment has been made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as per a Ministry of Railways order dated May 27, 2026.
Experienced Railway Officer Joins Board
Mr. Atul Singh is currently serving as Principal Executive Director (Production Units / Workshops & Innovation) in the Railway Board. He belongs to the Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) 1991 batch.He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree and has over 30 years of experience in Indian Railways. He has also worked on central deputation in the Ministry of Commerce between 2012 and 2017.
Tenure and Compliance Details
According to the filing, Mr. Atul Singh’s appointment will remain valid as long as he continues in his present post or until further government orders, whichever is earlier.
RITES Limited also confirmed that he is not debarred from holding the office of director under any SEBI or regulatory authority order. The company further stated that all required statutory and regulatory compliances related to the board appointment are currently being completed.
