New Delhi: SJVN Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) and a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.
The company’s financial results for Q1 FY27 were reviewed by the Audit Committee and approved by the Board of Directors on July 31, 2026.
SJVN’s consolidated revenue from operations increased 52% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,394.38 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹917.45 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
However, consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) stood at ₹224.74 crore, marginally lower than ₹227.58 crore reported in Q1 FY26.
SJVN Q1 FY27 Consolidated Financial Performance
SJVN reported strong growth in consolidated revenue and total income during the first quarter of FY27.
The key consolidated financial highlights are:
- Revenue from Operations: ₹1,394.38 crore, up 52% YoY from ₹917.45 crore.
- Total Income: ₹1,428.78 crore, up 47.1% YoY from ₹971.59 crore.
- Profit Before Tax (PBT): ₹345.56 crore, down 15.9% YoY from ₹410.79 crore.
- Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹224.74 crore, down 1.2% YoY from ₹227.58 crore.
- Basic EPS: ₹0.57, compared with ₹0.58 in Q1 FY26, a decline of 1.7%.
The results show a significant increase in consolidated revenue and total income, while profitability remained broadly stable compared with the year-ago period.

SJVN Standalone Q1 FY27 Results
On a standalone basis, SJVN reported a decline in revenue and profit during Q1 FY27 compared with the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The standalone financial performance includes:
- Revenue from Operations: ₹758.83 crore, down 7.7% YoY from ₹822.44 crore.
- Total Income: ₹794.86 crore, down 12.4% YoY from ₹907.39 crore.
- Profit Before Tax (PBT): ₹376.41 crore, down 15.1% YoY from ₹443.33 crore.
- Profit After Tax (PAT): ₹246.88 crore, down 4.5% YoY from ₹258.51 crore.
- Basic EPS: ₹0.63, compared with ₹0.66 in Q1 FY26, down 4.5%.
Despite the decline in standalone revenue and profit, SJVN’s standalone PAT remained at a healthy ₹246.88 crore for the quarter.
SJVN Key Financial Ratios Show Strong Balance Sheet
SJVN’s standalone financial ratios indicate a relatively stable financial position, with an improvement in its debt-equity ratio and interest service coverage during Q1 FY27.
The key ratios were:
- Net Worth: ₹14,952 crore, compared with ₹14,538 crore in Q1 FY26.
- Debt-Equity Ratio: 0.69, improved from 0.72.
- Interest Service Coverage Ratio: 4.40, up from 4.05.
- Operating Margin: 68.19%, compared with 76.11%.
- Net Profit Margin: 32.53%, improved from 31.43%.
The company’s interest service coverage ratio increased to 4.40 from 4.05, indicating improved capacity to service interest obligations. At the same time, the operating margin moderated from 76.11% to 68.19%.
SJVN Q1 FY27 Results: Revenue Growth and Profitability
The Q1 FY27 results present a mixed performance across SJVN’s consolidated and standalone operations.
On a consolidated basis, the company recorded a strong 52% YoY growth in revenue from operations, while total income increased by 47.1%. However, consolidated PBT declined 15.9%, and PAT fell marginally by 1.2%.
On a standalone basis, revenue from operations declined 7.7%, while PAT decreased 4.5% to ₹246.88 crore.
The company’s net worth also increased to ₹14,952 crore, while its debt-equity ratio improved to 0.69, reflecting a relatively stronger capital structure.
SJVN Makes Regulatory Disclosures
Along with announcing its Q1 FY27 financial results, SJVN provided various regulatory disclosures as required under the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations.
The disclosures included a statement confirming no deviation or variation in the use of proceeds from listed non-convertible debentures.
The company also submitted a Security Cover Certificate and provided information related to compliance with the financial covenants applicable to its listed debt securities.
These disclosures form part of the company’s regulatory compliance requirements and provide information to investors and other stakeholders regarding its listed debt instruments.
