In a major reshuffle in the police department, the CM Revanath Reddy led government has issued transfer orders for 10 IPS officers. According to the order released on 16th December, IPS officer Joel Davis has been made DCP Special Branch Hyderabad. He was earlier posted as DCP (West), Hyderabad. While SP of Siddipet N Swetha has been appointed as DCP Detective Department Hyderabad.

P Vishwa Prasad has been posted as Additional CP (Traffic) and AV Ranganath as Joint Commissioner of Police Detective Department Hyderabad. SM Vijay Kumar will take charge as DCP West Zone Hyderabad. Rohini Priyadarshini and L Subbarayudu have been posted as DCP North Zone Hyderabad and DCP Traffic 1 Hyderabad respectively.

Besides them, IPS officers Nitika Pant, Gajarao Bhupal and Chandana Deepti have been asked to report at the DGP office.
