Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday handed over appointment letters to 481 selected candidates during a programme held at Lok Bhavan. The recruitment covers multiple departments, including Ayush, Vocational Education and Skill Development, and Divyangjan Empowerment.
The initiative is part of the state’s ongoing employment drive under the “Mission Rozgar” campaign led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Over 9 Lakh Government Jobs Provided So Far
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state government has already provided more than 9 lakh government jobs so far.
He emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has now become the leading state in India in terms of government recruitment, driven by transparency and technology-based systems.
Transparent and Technology-Driven Recruitment Process
The Chief Minister highlighted major reforms in the recruitment system, stating that the entire process is now:
- Fully transparent
- Fair and merit-based
- Technology-driven
- Free from corruption and recommendation culture
He said earlier recruitment systems were affected by corruption, favoritism, and irregularities, but those issues have now been eliminated.
481 Candidates Receive Appointment Letters Across Departments
During the event, appointment letters were distributed to selected candidates from multiple departments.
This includes 202 candidates selected for the Ayush department, including:
- Professors
- Readers
- Medical officers
- Staff nurses
Other selected candidates belong to vocational education, skill development, and divyangjan empowerment departments.
UP Becomes a Growth Engine of India’s Economy
CM Yogi said that since 2017, Uttar Pradesh has undergone a major transformation in governance and economic performance.
He noted that:
- State economy has grown significantly
- Per capita income and budget have increased threefold
- UP is emerging as a key growth engine of India
He also highlighted that around 3 crore people are employed in 96 lakh MSME units across the state.
Focus on Skill Development and Modern Education
The Chief Minister stressed the importance of skill development in creating job-ready youth.
He said ITI institutions are now offering modern courses such as:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Drone Technology
- Cyber Security
- Robotics
These programs aim to align youth skills with industry requirements.
Emphasis on Ayush and Inclusive Development
CM Yogi highlighted the potential of the Ayush sector in boosting both healthcare and employment opportunities, especially through health tourism.
He also underlined that the Divyangjan Empowerment Department is working to ensure equal opportunities, stating that every differently-abled person has talent that needs the right platform.
Merit and Efficiency Drive Governance
Addressing the newly appointed candidates, the Chief Minister said that efficient and skilled youth bring momentum to governance systems.
He added that faster processes lead to better development outcomes, encouraging young recruits to contribute actively to state progress.
