Greater Noida: The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show will showcase vocational and emerging skills through live demonstrations, interactive activities and industry discussions at the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) pavilion from September 25 to 29.
The trade show is being held at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. The UPSDM pavilion will introduce a new ‘Skill Manch’ this year, where educators, skill experts and industry representatives are scheduled to interact with young visitors.
16 Skills to Be Demonstrated Live
The UPSDM pavilion will be set up across 360 square metres on the ground floor of Hall 7. It will feature 16 skill stalls, covering both traditional crafts and newer skills.

Live demonstrations will allow visitors to observe the processes involved in different skills.
The pavilion will also include Do-It-Yourself (DIY) activities, allowing visitors to participate in selected skill-based activities rather than only watch demonstrations.
New ‘Skill Manch’ to Host Industry Interactions
The newly introduced Skill Manch will bring together educators, skill-development experts and industry representatives to discuss career development and changing employment opportunities.
The sessions are intended to provide young people with information on practical aspects of career building and the evolving requirements of the employment market.
The pavilion will also feature young entrepreneurs who have received training through the skill development mission. They will share their experiences and business journeys with visitors.
B2B Meetings and Innovation Challenge
The UPSDM pavilion will facilitate business-to-business (B2B) interactions involving industries and educational institutions. The initiative will provide a platform for discussions on potential collaborations in skill development.
During the trade show, Uttar Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Kapil Dev Agarwal is scheduled to launch the ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’ portal.
The portal will provide a platform for young people, startups and innovators to submit new solutions.
UPSDM Mission Director Pulkit Khare said the pavilion has been designed not only to display skills but also to bring together experiential learning, discussions, innovation and the achievements of young people.
