Lucknow: Certificates issued under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) have been linked with DigiLocker and the National Academic Depository (NAD), enabling digital access and online verification of training and qualification records.
Under the new system, candidates can access their skill-development certificates through their DigiLocker accounts and download or share them with relevant institutions when required.
Digital Verification During Recruitment
The digital records will allow companies and institutions to verify the authenticity of certificates submitted by candidates during recruitment. Details related to the training and qualifications recorded in the certificates can also be checked online.

The mission has completed the institutional registration, certificate-format preparation and digitisation of older records as part of the digital certificate system.
The availability of certificates through DigiLocker also means candidates can retrieve their records digitally if their original paper certificates are lost or damaged.
Records Digitised Under New System
The digital certificate system has been developed with the support of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) and the Digital India Corporation (DIC).
The records will remain available digitally, allowing trained candidates to access their certification details through the designated platforms when needed.
