Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a public grievance hearing during the Janata Darshan held at the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur, where he personally listened to the concerns of around 200 citizens. He assured timely resolution of issues and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing housing, healthcare support, and welfare benefits to eligible beneficiaries.
CM Personally Interacts with Around 200 People
During his two-day stay in Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister attended the Janata Darshan on Saturday morning at the Gorakhnath Temple premises. Sitting in front of the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, CM Yogi Adityanath walked up to the attendees and directly interacted with them one by one.
He received written applications from the public and immediately forwarded them to concerned administrative and police officials, instructing them to ensure timely, fair, and effective resolution of all grievances.
Assurance of Housing for the Needy
Several citizens raised concerns regarding lack of housing. In response, the Chief Minister assured that eligible beneficiaries would be provided houses under government welfare schemes.
He emphasized that no deserving person in the state should remain without shelter and directed officials to prioritize such cases.
Financial Aid for Serious Medical Treatments
A significant number of people also sought financial assistance for medical treatment. CM Yogi assured them that no one would be deprived of treatment due to lack of funds.
He specifically directed assistance for:
- A woman undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi, with support to be provided through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
- Another patient whose treatment needs were directed to be arranged at AIIMS Gorakhpur or BRD Medical College
He reiterated that the government is committed to ensuring accessible healthcare for all, especially for critically ill patients.
Strict Action Against Land Encroachment Cases
Complaints related to illegal land encroachment were also brought before the Chief Minister. Taking a firm stance, he instructed police officials to take strict legal action against individuals involved in forceful land grabbing.
He emphasized zero tolerance towards land-related wrongdoing and assured protection of citizens’ property rights.
Focus on Children’s Education and Welfare
During the interaction, CM Yogi also engaged warmly with children accompanying their families. He encouraged them to pursue education, gifted chocolates, and motivated parents to ensure regular school attendance for their children.
He underlined that education is essential for building a strong future and urged families to prioritize schooling.

Reaffirming the administration’s approach, the Chief Minister stated that the government is dedicated to:
