Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi: As part of Sushasan Tihar 2026, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai conducted a unique grassroots public interaction in Gram Nimdha of Marwahi block, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district, where his helicopter landed directly in the village. The Chief Minister then held a public chaupal under the shade of a tree, sitting on a traditional cot (charpai) and directly engaging with villagers.
The visit focused on real-time grievance redressal, on-ground feedback of government schemes, and announcements of key development projects for the region.

In an unconventional approach to governance outreach, CM Sai interacted with villagers in an informal setting under a tree. He personally listened to public concerns related to basic amenities such as:

Major Announcements: Nursing College, Mini Stadium & Community Hall
Responding to demands raised by villagers and local representatives, including MLA Pranav Kumar Marpacci, the Chief Minister announced approval for three major development projects:
1. Nursing College
A new nursing college will be established to empower local girls and strengthen healthcare education in the region.
2. Mini Stadium
A mini stadium will be constructed to promote sports activities and nurture young athletic talent in rural areas.
3. Modern Community (Mangal) Hall
A large, modern community hall will be built to support social, cultural, and public events for all sections of society.
Focus on Electricity and Basic Infrastructure
Residents raised concerns regarding irregular electricity supply and low voltage issues. CM Sai directed officials to implement a permanent and effective solution, ensuring improved power infrastructure in the region.

The Chief Minister also announced the upcoming launch of a CM Helpline system, enabling citizens to register complaints via:
