  • Flyovers
  • Roads connecting religious and public importance sites

He emphasized that project prioritization should follow the order set by elected representatives to ensure transparency and efficiency in execution.

Strict Action Against Delay and Negligence in Projects

CM Yogi issued a strong warning against delays in execution of sanctioned projects. He directed that companies failing to start work despite completed tender processes should be identified and held accountable.

He ordered:

  • Blacklisting of defaulting firms
  • FIRs where necessary
  • Recovery of compensation from those damaging public roads or infrastructure

Public Representatives’ Participation to Be Ensured in Project Launches

The Chief Minister directed that MPs, MLAs, and local representatives must be included in foundation stone laying and inauguration ceremonies of development works.

He said that development must be visible on the ground and not remain limited to paperwork, and stressed timely completion with high-quality standards.

Compensation Recovery for Damage to Government Roads

CM Yogi also emphasized maintaining road quality and durability. He instructed officials to recover compensation from individuals, agencies, or institutions responsible for damaging government roads.

He said public infrastructure built with significant investment must be preserved through strict enforcement measures.

Strong Administrative Push for Timely Development

CM Yogi reiterated that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to timely and quality execution of all development projects. He said any form of negligence or delay will not be acceptable and strict action will be taken against responsible entities.

The Kanpur PWD review meeting reflects the Uttar Pradesh government’s focus on large-scale infrastructure expansion, transparency, and accountability. With thousands of crores worth of proposed projects, the state aims to strengthen road connectivity, improve public infrastructure, and accelerate regional development across the Kanpur division.
