Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the concluding ceremony of the North Tech Symposium (NTS) 2026 in Prayagraj, where he emphasized that national prosperity is deeply linked with strength, security, and technological self-reliance.

The event was themed “Raksha Triveni Sangam”, bringing together academia, defence forces, and the defence industry on a single platform to showcase India’s growing capabilities in modern warfare technology.

During the symposium, CM Yogi inspected a wide range of defence technologies and equipment displayed at the exhibition, including:

  • Bulletproof jackets and advanced helmets
  • Tactical combat gear
  • Multi-terrain operational equipment

  • Modular protection clothing for extreme conditions

He interacted with experts to understand the technical features and practical applications of these innovations.

The Chief Minister noted that the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor is progressing rapidly.

He said improved law and order and governance reforms have created a safe environment for investment, helping the state emerge as a key destination for defence production and technology development.

Prayagraj Becomes a ‘Triveni’ of Knowledge, Technology and Innovation

CM Yogi described Prayagraj as a historic centre of knowledge and spirituality, now evolving into a hub of technology, innovation, and defence advancement.

He said the symposium reflects a new “Triveni Sangam” where tradition meets modern defence technology.

India Moving Towards Multi-Domain Defence Strength

The Chief Minister also stressed that modern warfare is no longer limited to land, air, and water.

He said future security challenges will also involve cyber, space, and electronic domains, making technological advancement and innovation crucial for national security.
