EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Born on December 21, 1987, in Gurdaspur, Punjab, Navjot Simi showed early signs of ambition. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Baba Jaswant Singh Dental Hospital and Research Institute in Ludhiana.

With a promising career in dentistry ahead of her, many would have been satisfied. But Navjot was not one to settle for the ordinary; her aspirations soared higher.

TRADING THE SCALPEL FOR A BATON

Driven by her dream of serving the nation, Navjot embarked on the challenging journey to join the civil services. She immersed herself in the world of UPSC preparation, often studying late into the night, fuelled by determination.

THE MAKING OF A LEADER

LOVE AND PARTNERSHIP: A SHARED COMMITMENT TO SERVICE

In a beautiful twist of fate, Navjot found love with IAS officer Tushar Singla, who cleared the UPSC exam in 2015 with an all-India rank of 86 and is currently serving as the District Magistrate of Banka in Bihar. Together, they embody a partnership of service, overcoming challenges side by side while contributing to the betterment of society.
