New Delhi: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Medical, Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Telangana, to support tuberculosis (TB) patients through a targeted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
Under the partnership, BDL will provide Nutritional Food Baskets to TB patients in Kumrambheem Asifabad and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts of Telangana. The initiative is being implemented under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, which aims to strengthen community participation in the country’s efforts to eliminate tuberculosis.
BDL to Provide Nutritional Support to TB Patients
The CSR initiative focuses on addressing the nutritional needs of TB patients while they undergo treatment. Adequate nutrition can play an important supportive role during TB treatment, and the programme is intended to provide assistance to patients in the two selected districts.
