Siwan, Bihar: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary reviewed the progress of public welfare schemes during the “Sahyog Camp” organized in Siwan and Kaimur districts and interacted with the public, emphasizing fast resolution of grievances and accelerated development across the state.
90% Disposal of Applications Under Public Welfare Schemes
During the review, the Chief Minister was informed that out of 3.03 lakh applications received under various government schemes, around 2.61 lakh applications have already been resolved, marking nearly 90% disposal efficiency.
He directed officials to ensure timely and effective resolution of remaining applications and stressed that public grievances should not face unnecessary delays.
₹180 Crore Development Projects Inaugurated in Siwan
In Siwan, development projects worth ₹180 crore, comprising 38 schemes, were inaugurated and their foundation stones laid through a remote ceremony.
The Chief Minister stated that these projects are aimed at strengthening infrastructure and improving basic amenities in the district, thereby giving a new boost to local development.
₹196 Crore Projects Announced in Kaimur
In Kaimur district, 60 development projects worth ₹196.06 crore were also inaugurated and launched during the Sahyog Camp program.
The government said these initiatives will improve connectivity, public services, and overall infrastructure in the region.
Major Welfare Announcements for Bihar
Addressing the public, CM Samrat Choudhary reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering poor, Dalits, farmers, youth, and marginalized communities. He announced several major initiatives, including:
- Solar power installation on homes of 25 lakh Dalit families
- Employment and job creation target of 1 crore people by 2030
- Plans to establish a sugar mill in Siwan
- Strengthening of healthcare services across Bihar
- Expansion of infrastructure and public utilities
He said these initiatives are part of the vision to build a “Developed India and Prosperous Bihar” through governance and public participation.
Focus on Tourism and Infrastructure in Kaimur
During his Kaimur visit, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of the region’s cultural and religious heritage. He announced plans for:
- Renovation of the historic Maa Mundeshwari Temple
- Construction of a ropeway for pilgrims’ convenience
- Development of airport infrastructure and helicopter services to promote tourism
He also emphasized boosting tourism activities in the region to improve economic opportunities.
Government Emphasis on Good Governance
CM Choudhary instructed officials to ensure that all development works are completed in a time-bound, transparent, and quality-driven manner. He reiterated that the government’s priority is to ensure that every eligible citizen benefits from welfare schemes without delay.
Visit to Maa Mundeshwari Temple
During his tour, the Chief Minister also visited the ancient Maa Mundeshwari Temple, where he offered prayers for peace, prosperity, and the welfare of Bihar. The temple, known for its historical and cultural significance, remains an important heritage site in the state.
