Raipur: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state is taking major steps to strengthen and modernize its electricity distribution system. A large-scale plan has been launched to resolve long-standing issues such as low voltage and frequent power disruptions in rural regions, including the Jashpur district.

Power Infrastructure Upgrade Across 133 Villages in Jashpur

As part of the initiative, additional transformers will be installed in 133 villages, towns, and hamlets of Jashpur district. This targeted intervention is expected to provide long-term relief from low voltage problems and improve overall electricity reliability.

The move will directly benefit:

  • Farmers dependent on irrigation and agricultural equipment
  • Students requiring uninterrupted electricity for studies
  • Small traders and local businesses

Officials believe this upgrade will significantly improve daily life and economic activity in rural areas.

This will particularly support agricultural productivity and encourage small-scale industrial growth in rural Chhattisgarh.

Rural Development Through Reliable Electricity

Local residents have welcomed the move, expressing gratitude to Chief Minister  Vishnu Deo Sai for addressing a long-standing demand for stable power supply.

The ongoing power infrastructure expansion under the Chhattisgarh government reflects a focused effort to modernize the state’s electricity network. With new transformers and substations, regions like Jashpur are expected to witness significant improvements in power reliability and overall development.
