Raipur: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state is taking major steps to strengthen and modernize its electricity distribution system. A large-scale plan has been launched to resolve long-standing issues such as low voltage and frequent power disruptions in rural regions, including the Jashpur district.
Power Infrastructure Upgrade Across 133 Villages in Jashpur
As part of the initiative, additional transformers will be installed in 133 villages, towns, and hamlets of Jashpur district. This targeted intervention is expected to provide long-term relief from low voltage problems and improve overall electricity reliability.

400/220 KV Substation at Harradand, Kunkuri

New 33/11 KV Substations
Substations are being established at several locations including:
- Salihatoli
- Vipatpur
- Bhagora
- Samdama
- Maini
- Rede
- Palidih
- Khutera
- Chetwa
132/33 KV High-Capacity Substations
Additional substations have been approved at:
- Farsabahar
- Jhikki Bagicha
These developments aim to significantly enhance the stability and efficiency of electricity distribution across the region.
