Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday conducted a Janata Darshan at his official residence in Lucknow, where he met citizens from across the state and listened to their grievances.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the government is committed to the welfare of 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh, ensuring timely resolution of public complaints and effective delivery of welfare schemes.
CM Listens to Public Grievances at Janata Darshan
During the Janata Darshan programme, CM Yogi Adityanath personally interacted with citizens who had arrived from different districts of Uttar Pradesh.
He received applications from the public and directed concerned administrative and police officials to take immediate action on each case. He emphasized that every grievance must be resolved in a time-bound and effective manner.

Focus on Welfare and Human-Centric Governance
The Chief Minister said that the state government considers “service to humanity as service to God” and is working continuously for the welfare of all citizens.
He assured:
- Housing support for the needy
- Full financial assistance for serious medical treatments
- Priority-based resolution of public issues
He also reiterated that every eligible person must benefit from government welfare schemes.
Strict Action Against Illegal Encroachments
During the interaction, CM Yogi issued clear instructions to officials regarding illegal land encroachments.
He directed police authorities to take strict action against individuals or groups attempting to illegally occupy land belonging to others. He also instructed that revenue and police-related disputes must be resolved within a fixed timeframe.
The Chief Minister emphasized that justice should not only be timely but also ensure satisfaction of the affected citizens.
Emphasis on Administrative Sensitivity and Accountability
CM Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to handle public grievances with sensitivity and urgency. He said that responsiveness and accountability are essential for effective governance.
He also stressed that district-level officers must ensure prompt coordination between departments to avoid delays in grievance redressal.
The Janata Darshan held by CM Yogi Adityanath once again highlighted the Uttar Pradesh government’s focus on citizen-centric governance, swift grievance redressal, and strict action against illegal activities. The initiative continues to serve as a direct platform for public engagement and administrative accountability.
