- Border Security Force
- Indian Army
- Local border residents
- Civil administration
The aim is to improve coordination and ensure zero infiltration across sensitive border regions.
Government Planning Smart Border Project
The government is preparing a large “Smart Border Project” for borders shared with Pakistan and Bangladesh. The project is expected to include:
- AI-powered surveillance
- Radar systems
- Drone monitoring
- Smart fencing
- Modern cameras and sensors
Officials believe this technology-driven approach will make borders more secure and reduce illegal infiltration attempts.

India has already started strengthening drone warfare capabilities. Reports show the BSF has expanded counter-drone infrastructure and training programs in recent years.
Amit Shah said technology will play a key role in future border protection strategies. His latest visit highlights the government’s growing focus on modern warfare preparedness and smarter border management.
