What Was Operation Sindoor
Operation Sindoor was a major military mission that started on May 7, 2025. It was a direct response to a cruel terror attack in Pahalgam. On April 22, 2025, terrorists attacked tourists in Pahalgam, killing 26 innocent people. To stop more attacks, Indian forces crossed the border to destroy nine terror camps.
The strikes targeted dangerous groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. The military action officially ended on May 10, 2025.
Where Are the Soldiers Honored
The names of these six heroes are proudly engraved in New Delhi. They are carved into Wall 3D of the National War Memorial in the 2025 section. Until now, the government had not shared official details about the military losses. Putting their names on the Roll of Honour is the first official confirmation. The National War Memorial stands to remind everyone of the soldiers who protect India. Operation Sindoor is now a formal part of the country’s military history.
