Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Government of Punjab has issued a notification on 23rd August transferring five police officers of the state. IPS officer Shashi Prabha Dwivedi, IPS Vibhu Raj, IPS Gurpreet Singh, IPS J Elanchezhian and Simratpal Singh has been assigned with new postings.
As per the new order- IPS Shashi Prabha Dwivedi, who was posted as ADGP Vigilance Bureau Punjab and in addition Nodal officer Police Elections cell, is now transferred as ADGP Indian Reserve Battalions (IRB) Punjab.
Mr. Vibhu Raj, earlier posted as ADGP Lokpal, Punjab, will now hold the new position as ADGP Vigilance Bureau, Punjab. IPS Gurpreet Singh is now appointed as the DIG Patiala Range, Patiala and in addition, DIG IRB Punjab who was transfer as DIG Patiala Range, Patiala. Mr. J. Elanchezhian now joined as the Joint CP (Hqrs) Ludhiana who’s earlier posting was as DCP Law and order, Ludhiana. Mr. Simratpal Singh replaced J. Elanchezhian as the new DCP Law & Order and Operations, Ludhiana who was posted as DCP (Detective & Operations) Ludhiana.
